Have you not seen how We send down to the unbelievers satans who prick them? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
