It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?" 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him! 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
