۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
