Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
