The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 in a guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
