3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations to come in later times: 78 "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!" 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord with a free heart, 84 When he said to his father and his people: "What is this you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said, "How can you worship what you yourselves have carved 95 when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 When his son was old enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I have had a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think of this?" He replied, "Father, fulfill whatever you are commanded to do and you will find me patient, by the will of God". 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 for he was truly one of our believing servants. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
