a good many of olden times, 39 and a large group of those of later times. 40 The Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 41 They will find themselves in scorching wind and scalding water, 42 And in the shadow of a burning smoke. 43 neither cold nor graceful in shape. 44 For, behold, in times gone by they were wont to abandon themselves wholly to the pursuit of pleasures, 45 And they have been persisting in the heinous offence. 46 and constantly said: 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be restored to life? 47 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 48 Proclaim, “Without doubt all – the former and the latter.” 49 “They will all be gathered together – on the appointed time of the known day.” 50 "Then will ye truly,- O ye that go wrong, and treat (Truth) as Falsehood!- 51 Ye verily will eat of a tree called Zaqqum 52 And fill (your) bellies with it; 53 And shall be drinkers thereon of boiling water. 54 drinking it as thirsty camels do.” 55 This shall be their hospitality on the Day of Doom. 56 We have created you, why do you not then assent? 57 Have you considered the seed? 58 Do you create it, or We are its creator? 59 We mete out death among you, and We are not to be outrun, 60 that We may exchange the likes of you, and make you to grow again in a fashion you know not. 61 And verily ye know the first creation. Why, then, do ye not reflect? 62 So what is your opinion regarding what you sow? 63 Is it you who cause it to grow - or are We the cause of its growth? 64 Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry powder, and ye would be left in wonderment, 65 Surely we are burdened with debt: 66 Nay, but we have been deprived [of our livelihood]!" 67 Have you thought about the water you drink? 68 Is it you who cause it to come down from the clouds - or are We the cause of its coming down? 69 If We so pleased, We certainly could make it salty. Why, then, are you not grateful? 70 Tell Me! The fire which you kindle, 71 Have you raised its tree, or We have raised it? 72 We have made it as a reminder and convenience for the needy. 73 Then celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme! 74

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
