And nothing prevented people from believing when the guidance came to them except that they said: What! has Allah raised up a mortal to be an apostle? 94 Say: If there were in the earth angels walking secure, We had sent down for them from heaven an angel as messenger. 95 Say: 'God suffices as a witness between me and you; surely He is aware of and sees His servants.' 96 He is guided whom God guides. As for him He allows to go astray, you will not find a protector other than Him. We shall raise them on the Day of Resurrection in their own image, blind and dumb and deaf: Their habitation will be Hell. Every time (its fire) subsides We will intensify its flame. 97 This will be their retribution for having denied Our signs and said: "Once we are turned to bones and bits, can we be raised as a new creation?" 98 ۞ Behold they not that Allah who created the heavens and the earth is Able to create their likes? And He hath appointed for them a term whereof there is no doubt; yet the wrong-doers have refused everything excepting infidelity. 99 Say, "Had you owned the treasures of the Mercy of my Lord, you would have locked them up for fear of spending them.
