The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
