Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil)
20 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Pen (Al-Qalam) before The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
O you who have wrapped up in your garments! 1 Stand (to pray) all night, except a little. 2 half the night, or a little less 3 or add to it [at will]; and [during that time] recite the Qur'an calmly and distinctly, with thy mind attuned to its meaning. 4 Verily, We shall send down to you a weighty Word (i.e. obligations, legal laws, etc.). 5 Indeed, the first part of night is heavier in tread, and more upright in speech. 6 True, there is for thee by day prolonged occupation with ordinary duties: 7 So remember the name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him with exclusive devotion. 8 He is the only Lord, so choose Him as your guardian. 9 And have patience with what they say, and leave them with noble (dignity). 10 Leave to Me those who belie, those who lead a life of pleasure, and bear with them yet a little while. 11 Indeed, with Us [for them] are shackles and burning fire 12 And food that chokes and a painful punishment - 13 On that day, the earth and the mountains will be violently shaken, and the mountains will be turned into heaps of moving sand. 14 Lo! We have sent unto you a messenger as witness against you, even as We sent unto Pharaoh a messenger. 15 However, the Pharaoh disobeyed the Messenger and We seized him with a severe retribution. 16 How, then, if you refuse to acknowledge the truth, will you protect yourselves on that Day which shall turn the hair of children grey, 17 the Day whose severity shall cause the heaven to split asunder? Allah's promise is ever bound to be fulfilled. 18 Verily this is an Admonition: therefore, whoso will, let him take a (straight) path to his Lord! 19

Notes and Instructions
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
When reading ColorfulQuran.com on mobile or tablet devices, you may rotate the screen to enlarge or reduce the script.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
