Al-Furqaan 6 of 6
Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. 61 And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. 62 And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!"; 63 Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing; 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence." 66 And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. 67 And those who call not unto other god along with Allah and slay not any soul which Allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. And whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed. 68 The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- 71 And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity. 72 Those who, when they are admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or blind; 73 who pray, "Our Lord, bless us with wives and children, who may be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the righteous. " - 74 Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. 75 And abide there for ever: What an excellent destination and abode! 76 Say: 'My Lord esteems you not at all were it not for your prayer, for you have cried lies, and it shall surely be fastened.' 77
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
