The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
