۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 If he is among the near 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
