The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds - 2 The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 3 Owner of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help. 5 (Lord), guide us to the right path, 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
