Indeed Abraham was a whole community by himself, obedient to Allah, exclusively devoted to Him. And he was never one of those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity. 120 [He was] grateful for His favors. Allah chose him and guided him to a straight path. 121 And We gave him Good in this world, and he will be, in the Hereafter, in the ranks of the Righteous. 122 And afterward We inspired thee (Muhammad, saying): Follow the religion of Abraham, as one by nature upright. He was not of the idolaters. 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it, and most surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that about which they differed. 124 Call (the pagans) to the path of your Lord through wisdom and good advice and argue with them in the best manner. God knows well about those who stray from His path and those who seek guidance. 125 And if you chastise, chastise even as you have been chastised; and yet assuredly if you are patient, better it is for those patient. 126 Exercise patience and let it be only for the cause of God. Do not be grieved about them nor disappointed at their evil plans. 127 Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good. 128
