۞ God says: 'Take not to you two gods. He is only One God; so have awe of Me.' 51 And His is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto Him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 For, whatever good thing comes to you, comes from God; and whenever harm befalls you, it is unto Him that you cry for help 53 When He saves you from the hardship, some of you start to believe in idols. 54 In the end you will reject Our bounties. Enjoy yourselves; you will soon know (the consequences of your deeds). 55 They set apart for those, whose reality they do not even know, a portion of the sustenance We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be called to account for the lies that you have invented! 56 And they assign daughters to Allah – Purity is to Him! – and assign for themselves what they wish. 57 And when there is announced unto any of them a female his countenance remainoth darkened the whole day and he is wroth inwardly. 58 and he hides himself from people because of the bad news, thinking: should he keep the child despite disgrace, or should he bury it in dust? How evil is their estimate of Allah! 59 To those who believe not in the Hereafter, applies the similitude of evil: to Allah applies the highest similitude: for He is the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom. 60

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
