Al-Mu' minoon 2 of 6

We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people, worship God, for you have no other god but He. Will you not take heed for yourselves?" 23 So the disbelieving chieftains of his people said, “He is just a human like you, he wishes to become your leader; and had Allah willed, He would have sent down angels; We did not hear this in the case of our forefathers.” 24 He is a person who has been seized with a little madness; so wait for a while (perhaps he will improve)." 25 Submitted Nooh, “My Lord! Help me as they deny me.” 26 We said to him: 'Make the Ark under Our Eye, and Our Revelation, and then when Our command comes and the oven gushes water, take onboard a pair from every kind and your family, except him against whom the decision has already been passed. Do not address Me concerning those who have done evil; they shall be drowned. 27 When you and those with you have boarded the ark, say: 'All praise be to God who has delivered us from the people who were sinful.' 28 And say: 'O Lord, disembark me in a welcome place; You are the best of deliverers.' 29 Verily in that are signs; verily We have ever been provers. 30 Then We raised another generation after them, 31 And we sent among them a messenger of their own, saying: Serve Allah, Ye have no other Allah save Him. Will ye not ward off (evil)? 32
