The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21
