Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, so that he has received Enlightenment from Allah, (no better than one hard-hearted)? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened against celebrating the praises of Allah! they are manifestly wandering (in error)! 22 Allah has sent down the best discourse, a Book, consimilar in its oftrepeated (verses) that the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble; and thereafter their skins and hearts soften to the Remembrance of Allah. Such is the Guidance of Allah, whereby He guides whosoever He will; and whosoever Allah leads astray, he has no guide. 23 What about the one who will have only his bare face to protect him from his terrible punishment on the Day of Resurrection? The evil-doers will be told, "Taste what you have earned." 24 Those before them had denied, therefore the punishment came to them from a place they did not know. 25 Then God made them taste of disgrace in this life; and the torment of the life to come is greater, if they understand. 26 We have given examples of every kind for men in this Qur'an so that they may contemplate: 27 An Arabic Qur'an, wherein there is no crookedness, that haply they may fear. 28 Allah puts forth a similitude: a (slave) man belonging to many partners (like those who worship others along with Allah) disputing with one another, and a (slave) man belonging entirely to one master, (like those who worship Allah Alone). Are those two equal in comparison? All the praises and thanks be to Allah! But most of them know not. 29 Truly thou wilt die (one day), and truly they (too) will die (one day). 30 Then you will dispute before your Lord on the Day of Resurrection. 31
