Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 excusing or warning, 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 for an appointed term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
