The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the morning hours 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
