The Amramites (Al-Imraan)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 GOD - there is no deity save Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being! 2 He has revealed to you the Book with truth, verifying that which is before it, and He revealed the Tavrat and the Injeel aforetime, a guidance for the people, and He sent the Furqan. 3 in the past as guidance for mankind; He has [also] sent down the Standard by which to discern the true from the false. Surely those who deny God's signs will suffer severe punishment. God is mighty and capable of retribution. 4 Indeed, from Allah nothing is hidden in the earth nor in the heaven. 5 He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases. La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 6 He it is who hath sent down unto thee the Book, wherein some verses are firmly constructed - they are the mother of the Book, and others consimilar. But those in whose hearts is a deviation follow that which is consimilar therein, seeking discord and seeking to misinterpret the same; whereas none knoweth the interpretation thereof save Allah. And the firmly-grounded in knowledge say: we believe therein, the whole is from our Lord. And none receiveth admonition save men of understanding. 7 “Our Lord! Do not deviate our hearts after You have guided us, and bestow mercy on us from Yourself; indeed You only are the Great Bestower.” 8 Lord, You will surely gather all the people for a Day that will come in which there is no doubt' Allah will not break His promise. 9
