1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire 23 And stop them, for they must be questioned. 24 [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 27 They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right." 28 [To which] the others will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were bereft of all faith! 29 “And we did not have any control over you; but in fact you yourselves were rebellious.” 30 The sentence of our Lord has come true for us. We have certainly to taste (the punishment), 31 Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray. 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 that is how We deal with evil-doers. 34 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 But it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought;- 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 as the fruits [of their life on earth]; and honoured shall they be 42 In gardens of pleasure 43 seated on couches, facing one another. 44 There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring, 45 White, delicious to those who drink. 46 No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. 47 and with them wide-eyed maidens restraining their glances 48 As if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded. 49 They will turn to one another with questions: 50 One of them will say: 'I had a companion 51 who used to say: -- Are you also one of those who confirm the Truth (of life after death)? 52 After we are dead and have become all dust and bones shall we still be requited?' 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire. 55 'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me. 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 What, do we then not die 58 except for our first death? Are we not going to be punished? 59 Indeed, this is the mighty victory, 60 For such a reward should the workers perform. 61 So is this welcome better, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 Which We have reserved as punishment for evil-doers? 63 Surely it is a tree that-grows in the bottom of the hell; 64 its spathes are like the heads of satans 65 The dwellers of hell will eat that fruit and fill-up their bellies. 66 Then they will have on top of it a mixture of boiling water. 67 Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire. 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps. 70 So had many an earlier people gone astray, 71 although, verily, We had sent warners unto them: 72 See how those who were warned met their end! 73 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 74
