And assuredly We have created human being from ringing clay of loam moulded. 26 while We had brought the jinn into being before out of blazing fire. 27 And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man (Adam) from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. 28 When I have shaped him and ran My created soul in him fall down prostrating towards him'. 29 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 30 Except Iblis (Satan), - he refused to be among the prostrators. 31 Said He: "O Iblis! What is thy reason for not being among those who have prostrated themselves?" 32 (Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape." 33 Said Allah, “Therefore exit from Paradise, for you are an outcast.” 34 and the curse shall be on you till the Day of Judgement!" 35 He said: my Lord! respite me then till the Day whereon they will be raised up. 36 Answered He: "Verily, so be it: thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 37 Till the period of the time made known. 38 Said he, 'My Lord, for Thy perverting me I shall deck all fair to them in the earth, and I shall pervert them, all together, 39 But not such of them as are Thy bondmen single-hearted. 40 Allah said: "Here is the path that leads straight to Me. 41 Surely, as regards My servants, you have no authority, over them except those who follow you of the deviators. 42 Gehenna (Hell) will be the promise for all of them. 43 "It (Hell) has seven gates, for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned. 44
