And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say: 'To Allah' Say: 'Then will you not remember' 85 Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
