۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
