A token unto them is the dead earth. We revive it, and We bring forth from it grain so that they eat thereof; 33 We made in it gardens of date-palms and vines, and We caused springs to gush forth 34 that they might eat of its fruits. It was not their hands that made them. Will they not, then, give thanks? 35 Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge. 36 And a sign to them is the night: We draw forth from it the day, then lo! they are in the dark; 37 The sun runs to its fixed resting place; that is the decree of the Almighty, the Knower. 38 And (as for) the moon, We have ordained for it stages till it becomes again as an old dry palm branch. 39 The sun cannot overtake the moon, nor can the night outpace the day: each floats in [its own] orbit. 40 And [it ought to be] a sign for them that We bear their offspring [over the seas] in laden ships, 41 And We have created for them similar (vessels) on which they ride. 42 And if We will, We drown them, and there is no help for them, neither can they be saved; 43 It is only Our Mercy (that rescues them) and enables enjoyment of life for a while. 44 And when it is said to them, 'Fear what is before you and what is behind you; haply you will find mercy' -- 45 yet never any sign of the signs of their Lord comes to them, but they are turning away from it. 46 When they are told: "Spend of what God has given you," the unbelievers say to those who believe: "Why should we feed those whom God should have fed if He pleased?" You are only in palpable error. 47 And they say: when will this promise be fulfilled if ye say sooth? 48 They wait not for aught but a single cry which will overtake them while they yet contend with one another. 49 They will have no time to make a will, nor shall they return to their own people. 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
