And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
