۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
