What is the matter with unbelievers that they stare at you with fixed gazes and hasten towards you 36 from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss? 38 By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know. 39 No, I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We have the ability 40 To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. 41 So leave them to their vain disputes and amusement till they meet their day (of reckoning) promised them, 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 with their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace; the day about which they were promised. 44
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
