The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
