The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 On a guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
