Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is folded up, 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 when the pregnant camels shall be neglected, 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), 7 And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 and Hell is stoked, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 Obeyed (by the angels), trustworthy there (in the heavens). 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 he indeed saw the message-bearer on the clear horizon; 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 This is naught else than a reminder unto creation, 27 to every one of you who wishes to tread the straight path. 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
