The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
