He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Prophet frowned and turned away 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 What made you think that he will not grow in virtue, 3 Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him? 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 You pay full attention, 6 Yet it is not thy concern if he grow not (in grace). 7 As for the one who comes to you earnestly (striving for guidance). 8 and fearfully, 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment, 11 So let whosoever will pay heed to it, 12 In honored books, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 May man be slain how ungrateful he is! 17 From what has God created him? 18 From a drop of liquid; He created him and then set several measures for him. 19 then eased his path for him, 20 then He caused him to die and brought him to the grave, 21 Then He will raise him up again when He please. 22 Not one he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 Let man consider his food: 24 We poured water, pouring it in great abundance, 25 and then We cleaved the earth asunder. 26 and thereupon We cause grain to grow out of it, 27 and vines and edible plants, 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 the densely tree'd gardens, 30 And fruit and grass - 31 A provision for you and your cattle. 32 But when there comes the Deafening Blast 33 That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 And his wife and his children, 36 on that Day each will be occupied with his own business, making him oblivious of all save himself. 37 Some faces that Day will be beaming, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 o'erspread with darkness -- 41 These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked. 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
