The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who has created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
