۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
