Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
