۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
