The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
