Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 And indeed your Lord knows what is hidden in their bosoms, and what they disclose. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
