The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ The Most Merciful 1 who taught the Quran -- 2 He hath created man. 3 He taught him eloquent speech. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning, 5 And the herbs (or stars) and the trees both prostrate. 6 And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance. 7 In order that you may not corrupt the balance. 8 but weigh things equitably and skimp not in the balance. 9 And the earth, He has set it for living creatures; 10 Therein are fruits, date-palms producing sheathed fruit-stalks (enclosing dates). 11 the grain in the blade; and aromatic herbs. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He has created man from dry, rotten clay like the potter's, 14 and He created the jinn from smokeless fire. 15 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 16 He is Lord of the two easts and Lord of the two wests. 17 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 18 He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. 19 Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress: 20 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 21 Out of them both come out pearl and coral. 22 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 23 And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains. 24 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
