In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 Let man reflect on what he was created from. 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 Coming from between the back and the ribs. 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By the heaven with its recurring cycle of rain, 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 And no trifle. 14 They are devising a guile, 15 and I too am devising a guile. 16 Give respite to the disbelievers and leave them alone for a while. 17
