Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7

We shall make satan the companion of whoever ignores the remembrance of the Beneficent God. 36 and they bar them from the way, and they think they are guided, 37 Until when he comes before Us he will say (to the devil): "Would to God there was a distance of the East and West between you and me, for you were an evil companion!" 38 And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, that you are [all] sharing in the punishment. 39 (Muhammad), can you make the deaf hear or guide the blind or the one who is clearly in error? 40 And whether [or not] We take you away [in death], indeed, We will take retribution upon them. 41 Or (if) We show you that wherewith We threaten them, then verily, We have perfect command over them. 42 Therefore, hold fast to that which is revealed to you, indeed, you are on the Straight Path. 43 Verily it is a great source of eminence for you and your people, and soon you will be called to account concerning that. 44 You can ask Our Messengers whom We sent before you if We had commanded them to worship other gods besides the Beneficent God?" 45
