And a sign for them is the dead earth; We gave it life and We produced from it grain, so they eat from it. 33 and We made therein gardens of palms and vines, and therein We caused fountains to gush forth, 34 So that they may eat from its fruits, whereas they are not manufactured by their hands! So will they not be grateful? 35 Exalted is He who created all pairs - from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know. 36 And [of Our sway over all that exists] they have a sign in the night: We withdraw from it the [light of] day - and lo! they are in darkness. 37 And [they have a sign in] the sun: it runs in an orbit of its own [and] that is laid down by the will of the Almighty, the All-Knowing; 38 We have ordained phases for the moon until finally it becomes like an old date-stalk. 39 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit. 40 And a sign for them is that We lodged them in a laden ship, while they were in their forefathers backs. 41 and We have created for them the like of it whereon they ride; 42 Had We wanted, We could have drowned them and nothing would have been able to help or rescue them 43 Unless it be a mercy from Us, and as an enjoyment for a while. 44 And when it is said to them: "Beware of that which is before you (worldly torments), and that which is behind you (torments in the Hereafter), in order that you may receive Mercy (i.e. if you believe in Allah's Religion Islamic Monotheism, and avoid polytheism, and obey Allah with righteous deeds). 45 and whenever a revelation out of their Lord's revelations comes to them, they ignore it. 46 And when it is said to them: "Spend of that with which Allah has provided you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe: "Shall we feed those whom, if Allah willed, He (Himself) would have fed? You are only in a plain error." 47 And they say: "When will this promise (i.e. Resurrection) be fulfilled, if you are truthful?" 48 They await but one Shout, which will surprise them while they are disputing. 49 Then they will be unable to make a will, nor shall they return to their kinsmen. 50
