The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily your God is One, 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 With a driving fusillade, and theirs shall be a torment perpetual; 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Are they a stronger creation, or are other things of our creation, (the angels, the heavens etc.)?” We have indeed created them from sticky clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say thou: and verily ye; shall then be despicable. 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 This is the Day of Judgment in which you disbelieved. 21
