Hizb 46

And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 when he fled like a runaway slave onto a laden ship. 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 Then the big Fish did swallow him, and he had done acts worthy of blame. 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 He would have stayed in its belly till the day the dead are raised. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 And We had sent him to a hundred thousand: rather they exceeded. 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), whether the daughters are for your Lord and the sons for them! 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 God hath begotten. Verily they are the liars. 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 but not so the true servants of God, 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 except those who will burn in Hell. 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 Verily, we (angels), we stand in rows for the prayers (as you Muslims stand in rows for your prayers); 165 And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 Had we but an admonition as had the ancients. 168 We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones. 169 but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 So turn away from them for a while. 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 But then, once it alights upon them, hapless will be the awakening of those who were warned [to no avail]! 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And all praise to God, the Lord of all the worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
