The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
