Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively. 23 Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them. 24 Mention the Name of your Lord, mornings and evenings. 25 And prostrate for Him in a part of the night, and proclaim His purity into the long night. 26 Indeed these people love what they have, the fleeting one, and have forsaken the immensely important day behind them. 27 It is We Who created them, and strengthened their skeleton; and We can replace them with others like them, whenever We will. 28 Verily this is an admonition; then whosoever will, may choose a way unto his Lord. 29 But you cannot will it unless God wills [to show you that way]: for, behold, God is indeed all-seeing, wise. 30 He admits to His mercy whomever He wants. For the unjust He has prepared a painful punishment. 31
