Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
